贴一篇以前的帖子,介绍RST模型通过Etabs交互设计时模型导入导出的问题及解决对策,通过本文,各位看官应该能完成RST模型的和分析软件的一条龙工作,并没有太多麻烦。
在发表之前声明在先,很多人希望模型导出去后在分析模型里还要改设置,感觉就这也不行那也不行。甚至发展为不愿意接触RST, 这里我仅做统一说明。
RST是用来精确建模、统计、管理及自动化图纸、同步等工具,而结构分析及结构分析软件考虑的是结构模型简化,荷载传递路径,及规范条文。因此模型检查是避免不了的,即便是PKPM当模型导入到SatWe等后面的模块中时也要进行模型检查及调整。而随着软件接口的进步,这种检查的工作量会越来越少,本文仅以RST2008和Etabs 9.2.0的交互实例作以演示,目的在于抛砖引玉。

Issue Description: If Revit project template does not have the corresponding component types mentioned in an .exr file, after the .exr is imported, the components defined in the Etabs model could not be generated correctly. RST will replace the element with the default type of the category that the component belongs to. Please refer to fig 2 and fig 3. Fig 2, Etabs classifies the beam sections with diverse colors (plan view). Fig 3, Revit generate the model with .exr file imported (plan view), all beams are replaced with 400x800. An issue.log will be created after the file is generated, shown as fig 4. Fig 4, an issue log file is created to show the failed items. Suggestions to avoid the failures- step by step 1.
To summarize the element types or to identify
the on-going element issues, There are two methods to summarize the element types; Option 1 is to check the element types in Etabs mode before the wrong mode is generated with RST. As fig 2 indicates, Etabs could classify element-section-types with diverse color shown, here is the setting, Fig 5, view setting in Etabs to classify the element type by color Open each plan view, check and summarize the element types by color, shown below, Fig 6, check the element type via right clicking the elements Note: Please check the beam in plan levels, and check the columns in Elevation views. Option 2 is to summarize the issued element types via checking the issue log (.txt) file, please refer to fig 4. That is to say, firstly we generate the .rvt file to generate the issue.txt, and then we summarize the issued element types. 2.
Pre-set the element types in Revit project (.rvt) file before the .exr file is imported and Revit mode is generated. Based upon the summary created in step 1, all element types should be pre-set in Revit Project (.rvt) or template (.rte) file, to ensure the mode being generated correctly thereafter, shown as Fig 7. Import the .exr file to generate the Revit model, the final .rvt mode should be created base on step 2
